AOPA Capital Appears at the Asia Low-Altitude Economy Development Conference

On November 27, the Asia Low-Altitude Economy Development Conference (the “Conference”) was successfully held at the Zhuhai International Airshow Center. Hosted by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of China (China AOPA) and co-organized by Zhuhai AOPA Private Equity Fund Management Co., Ltd., the Conference specially invited member institutions of the investment committee of the Gaoyou AOPA Low-Altitude Economy Industry Fund and the Gaoyou low-altitude economy task force to discuss the sector’s momentum with global general aviation leaders.
Founded in 2016, Zhuhai AOPA Private Equity Fund Management Co., Ltd. is a private fund manager reviewed by the Asset Management Association of China (registration No. P1060970). Its core strength comes from deep industry roots—leveraging resources from its two major shareholders, China AOPA and Aviation Investment Private Equity Fund Management Co., Ltd.—and an investment philosophy of “empowering industrial innovation and supporting regional development,” combining professional research with industry resources to identify quality projects and help companies grow.

In February 2025, the Gaoyou AOPA Low-Altitude Economy Industry Investment Fund—sponsored by AOPA Capital together with the Gaoyou municipal government and related parties—completed AMAC registration with a fund size of RMB 1 billion.
The fund anchors the Yangtze River Delta’s airspace advantages and industrial clusters, focusing on core links across the low-altitude value chain in three directions: (1) critical low-altitude technologies, including UAV power systems (e.g., solid-state batteries and motors), flight control, and advanced aviation materials; (2) low-altitude infrastructure such as air traffic management systems; and (3) application expansion to scale commercial use cases including low-altitude tourism, emergency rescue, urban logistics, and power-line inspection.

Through capital empowerment, the fund will help accelerate the shift from technology exploration to scaled commercialization and support the Yangtze River Delta in becoming a leading national low-altitude innovation hub.
Driven by both policy and markets, the low-altitude economy is becoming a key arena for new quality productive forces. AOPA Fund is taking a top-down approach, prioritizing infrastructure and supporting systems, aircraft manufacturing and core components, and operations and service applications to promote coordinated value-chain development and inject professional capital into the sector’s takeoff.
